Everybody out there has most likely seen one of those movies of an animal that seems to mix better with individuals from another species. Well, this lamb might just be among those animals. It's effectively a lamb passing for a cow. At least it's a lamb with a quite cow-like design. This lamb's fleece has an amazing black and white spotted pattern almost exactly like the usual Holstein cow marks, which makes for an interesting case of mistaken identity. To be honest, upon first glance at this picture we assumed this was a cow. Little lamb is a rare specimen since this peculiar pattern is rather rare in sheep. The dots are arranged such that they exactly reflect bovine colouring, including the distinctive big black patches usually found on dairy cows. A picture of this lamb out in a field interacting with some cows would be even more charming than this one. We so wish we had that picture or better still, video. Many animal enthusiasts have fallen in love with this amazing illustration of nature's sense of humour because of its startling likeness to a totally other species.
